To work with your radiator, the Smart Radiator Thermostat needs to determine the positions in which the valve is fully open and fully closed. This process is called calibration.
Once successfully calibrated, the device stores these calibration values. If you then want to mount the Smart Radiator Thermostat to a different radiator, these calibration values have to be reset. This is because every radiator valve (even of the same type) has slightly different dimensions.
To reset the calibration values, simply restart the device. When the restart is successful, the display lights up showing “Set” presss the middle button once and the motor retracts into the housing. Now the device is ready for a new calibration.
To restart calibration, simply reattach the Smart Radiator Thermostat to the mounting bracket.
