For every evanell° room, the measured temperature is shown in the Room Screen in the app as ‘Current Temperature’ or you can see that by pressing the middle button once on the evanell device (there will be heat icon with the set temperature on the display). This measurement is made by the evanell° device.
If you think that the measured temperature on evanell° is not correct, you can adjust it by:
Changing the temperature offset in the device on APP at temperature calibration section in the settings.
You can use a standard thermometer to check the current temperature. It is possible there will be a difference between the actual temperature and the measured temperature on evanell°. This is called the temperature offset.
For instance, your thermometer may detect 22 °C while evanell° measures 20 °C. The temperature offset is then +2 °C. Vice versa, if the current temperature is 16 °C but evanell° shows 19 °C, the temperature offset is -3 °C.
To set or change the temperature offset, please do the following in the evanell° app:
1 Go to device you want to change temperature on app.
2 Go to setting on right top and click on ‘Temperature Calibration’ section.
4 use the up or down arrow to set the desired offset value.
5 Select the tick in the top right-hand corner of the screen to confirm.
evanell° will display the measured temperature including the offset.
